Garden News / Upcoming Events !

Our February Monthly Garden Meeting was a GREAT success!  We had lots of enthusiastic participants!  If you missed it, don’t worry – we have another one planned for MONDAY, March 6, 2023 at 6:00 PM!

Topics discussed included a Special Garden Workday for Saturday, March 4, 2023, garden maintenance, growing food for fresh produce donations to local food banks, ways to place a numbering system on the raised beds for easy identification, plans for hosting our own FARMERS MARKET, placing signs that explain what the community garden is, how it works/garden rules, and how individuals/groups can become a member or volunteer.

Plans are in place to add two more webpages to our website: a monthly planting guide and an idea submittal page for suggestions on ways to improve garden output, recruit members/volunteers, etc. Additionally, plans are in place to host a series of classes (including cooking demonstrations) that include information cards.  Come join us – we would love to have you at our next meeting or garden event!

Our NEXT Monthly Garden Meeting will be on Monday, March 6, 2023 at 6:00 PM in the Garden Site Office.  EVERYONE IS INVITED!
